Let no man deceive you by any means!!
Babel or Babylon = "confusion (by mixing)"
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false
prophets are gone out into the world.
(1Jo 4:1)

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.  (Mat 24:11)

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders;
insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
(Mat 24:24)

The kings of the earth, and all the inhabitants of the world, would not have believed that the
adversary and the enemy should have entered into the gates of Jerusalem. For the sins of her
prophets, and the iniquities of her priests, that have shed the blood of the just in the midst of her,
(Lam 4:12-13)

And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the
kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
(Dan 11:21)

For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not
prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.
(Jer 10:21)

Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have
made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.
(Jer 12:10)

The wind shall eat up all thy pastors, and thy lovers shall go into captivity: surely then shalt thou
be ashamed and confounded for all thy wickedness.
(Jer 22:22)

Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.
(Jer 23:1)

The prophets that have been before me and before thee of old prophesied both against many
countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence. The prophet which
prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be
known, that the LORD hath truly sent him.
(Jer 28:8-9)

For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that
be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be
dreamed. For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD.
(Jer 29:8-9)

I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. But
if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should
have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings. I have heard what the
prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed. How long
shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit
of their own heart; Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my
words every one from his neighbour. Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use
their tongues, and say, He saith. Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the
LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent
them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.
(Jer 23:21-22,25-26,30-32)

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto
you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the
LORD. They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and
they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come
upon you.
(Jer 23:16-17)

Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine
iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of
banishment.
(Lam 2:14)

Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace;
and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter: Because with lies ye
have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the
hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:
(Eze
13:10,22)

He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck;
he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he
blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their
abominations. I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because
when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine
eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
(Isa 66:3-4)

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying
wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they
received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send
them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed
not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
(2Th 2:9-12)

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even
to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the
thoughts and intents of the heart.
(Hbr 4:12)

Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

(Jer 23:29)

For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should
not be the servant of Christ.
(Gal 1:10)

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto
them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying
with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and
worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
(Rev 14:6-7)

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this
is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing,
whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
(Ecc 12:13-14)

there followed another angel, saying, Babylon

followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive
his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God,
which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with
fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

Babylon (confusion) Is Doomed!
The burden of Babylon (confusion), which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see. Lift ye up a banner
upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the
gates of the nobles. I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for
mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness. The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like
as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD
of hosts mustereth the host of the battle. They come from a far country, from the end of heaven,
even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land. Howl ye; for the
day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. Therefore shall all
hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt: And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows
shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one
at another; their faces shall be as flames. Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with
wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be
darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. And I will punish the
world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to
cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. I will make a man more precious than fine
gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the
earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce
anger. And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every
man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land. Every one that is found shall be
thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword. Their children also
shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives
ravished. Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for
gold, they shall not delight in it. Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they
shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eyes shall not spare children. And Babylon
(confusion), the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God
overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from
generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds
make their fold there. But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of
doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there. And the wild beasts of
the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time
is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.

The Fall of Babylon (confusion)
And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the
earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon
(confusion) the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of
every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the
wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with
her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I
heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of
her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God
hath remembered her iniquities. And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and
cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon
(confusion) be thrown
down, and shall be found no more at all. And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers,
and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he
be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in
thee; And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom
and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the
earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. And in her was found the blood of prophets,
and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.
Revelation 18:1-5,21-24       (confusion) my word inserted

God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth,
dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he
needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own
selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
2 Corinthians 13:5

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he
cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is
old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily,
verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the
kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is
spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth,
and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so
is every one that is born of the Spirit.
